Julie Brandon

My Statement of Faith & Purpose

My name is Julie Brandon and I am a follower of God, Jesus, Christ and the Saints.  I know myself to be a Christian and I strive to follow the moral teachings of Jesus.  I do not completely identify with Christianity in the United States as I am not a proponent of capitalism, greed and its influence on the Church.  I believe God's intent for human society to be a caring community where people contribute according to their means and ability and excess resources are responsibly shared for the good of all.  Starting with the family and then community; people are loved, cared for, held accountable (by good means) and taught to live in care of Earth, each other and all life on this planet.  In this society, we know God and are taught to live in right relationship with Him and his creation, Earth.  I know there are a lot of people working very hard to bring and maintain this kind of love and community to our world and I am very grateful for that.  And, I believe, as Christians, we have the ability and calling to focus our efforts on this way of life both inside and outside of our family and faith circles.

I do my best to involve myself with groups and activities related to caring for people and planet.  I realize I am a part of this system and I continually question my relationship with it, my part in maintaining it and how much I am influenced by it.  I strive to disconnect as much as possible from the forces of over-consumption, greed, immorality, and wrongdoing.  In contrast, I strive to connect with clean, simple, natural, moral and joyful living.

I know there are and have been many deceiving forces and false teachers present on Earth and I do not believe anything should be blindly accepted without question especially religion and prayer to unseen forces.  I also know that there are many spiritual entities, including Satan, that would define themselves as gods so I am very careful about to whom I pray.  I am not all believing in any religious or secular doctrine or text and it's presentation to us. I do not feel aligned with jealousy, meanness, revenge, corporal punishment, rituals, animal/human sacrifice and violence.  I do not promote or practice symbolic, ritual consumption of human flesh and blood.

I do believe Jesus Christ came here to Earth to warn us and save us and has suffered greatly doing just that. I believe he came here to bring light, truth and the true love of the real God.  I also believe he knew it wasn't going to be easy or pretty.  I believe he knew with the energy that he would be carrying and the truth that he would bring, that the dark forces on this plant would naturally react.  But he came anyways. To help lift this planet out of darkness and wrongdoing, He, his followers and the Saints have suffered by the forces of evil and darkness.  My heart knows this to be true.  I believe He loves and cares about us dearly and truly.  He wants for us to live our lives true to our good hearts, good minds and good nature and to be the caretakers of Earth we were meant to be; not destructive consumers.  To do that in the face of the strong opposing forces present here on Earth right now is nothing short of a challenge.  And, I believe there are many, many good spiritual and physical forces present to help us do just that; as that path requires reconciling with God and true righteousness, personal change, healing, strength and letting go of learned wrongdoing and destructive addictions.

So, living to further my walk on a path towards staying true to God, righteousness and the moral teachings of Jesus; I have chosen to celebrate simple living and Earth stewardship.  As I take steps toward that goal, I hope to support, inspire, be inspired by and learn from other people doing the same.  I am also called to share with others my experience into and out of a satanic cult.  You can learn more about that journey in by blog.  To access it, look for the menu item above titled, "My Cult Journey".

I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and enjoy living near the Gulf of Mexico.  Most of my work life has been spent in public service in Texas' federally funded welfare system.  During my career, I received training in the coaching model and developed my presentation and training skills.  I received training and certifications in both career and life coaching. My career in public service has afforded me opportunities to work with people and help them develop their talents and strengths.  I have also helped to lead people to accomplish their goals.  This life experience, along with the training I have received, has equipped me now to offer coaching and educational services to you.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, plant-based homemade cooking, gardening, beachcombing, conducting beach clean-ups, swimming in the ocean, camping, hiking, kayaking and making crafts from items found while beachcombing.

I joyfully engage in this work and look to connect with like-minded believers who are taking steps towards planet stewardship and who are focused on our return journey closer to God's original intent for our lives.  It is my hope that if you are reading this, you feel the same and will join me and others like me to focus our efforts on that return home.

Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
